Courage to start over

At some point in our lives we are faced with a challenge or two, where our reality and current circumstances take a change. Sometimes we go through losses, At time we have to let go and leave what we started or have because that season is over or not taking us anywhere. As tragic as this may be and hard at that moment, it happens, this is life. Let me tell you; things do get better. You have to believe it with all your heart. Maintain that confession. You are going to make it through. The most amazing thing to do at this point of your life; is to have the courage to start over.

Realize that you don’t start from zero, but from experience, wisdom, knowledge, faith, hope & prayer. You start from maturity. You start from a place of truth. One requirement of having courage to start over is to get rid of all pride, know that this pain and discomfort will pass. Your determination & effort to cause a change in your life will be mandatory. Some people will laugh, mock you, and scold you, its okay, their words don’t stick. Don’t reward them with a hash response or bitterness. Remain focused on the goal at hand which is to start over.

Starting over doesn’t always mean failure but redirection, means freedom, means peace, means victory. Your posture, outlook and vision define what this process means to you. What others think about it, shouldn’t concern you or bother you. In starting over build yourself up, your focus, strategy, confidence, goals, redefine element’s of your life. Evaluate your “WHY” do a process of elimination, to what pulls you down or dragging you and delaying you when you keep holding on to the past. Have a true self introspection (self audit). What will sustain a clear vision will be discipline, principles and values.

I won’t lie, it will hurt, but it won’t hurt forever. The beginning might be hard, messy in the middle but it will be solid in the end. Starting over needs you to offer yourself grace as you learn new and unlearn old and crippling behaviour, habits, attitude, thoughts and lies or bad environments that brought you harm. Starting over affords you clarity, it brings peace. Peace is calm in a storm, not just absence of it. Starting over brings direction and heals wounds, remember some wounds are not just physical, but soul (mind and will) wounds or spiritual wounds.

Make it a point to allow yourself to go for the NEW. Fear will want to knock at your door but don’t allow it to enter-in and be a guest, for it is a stubborn guest that will refuse to leave and overstay its welcome. Be hopeful for a NEW DAWN. It is darkest before dawn but without a doubt light does come. Let the process of starting over not scare you, let it grow you. let this journey be of self awareness, clear boundaries, clear vision, clear mission, attainable goals and most importantly one which is memorable, one that has lessons, one that holds lasting meaning and produces wisdom, one which allows you to be vulnerable enough to not fake it to yourself, but one that encourages you to go for purpose with all you have, to be motivated to journey with total truth and character building.

You can do this! I am routing for you. I am your sheer leader. I am praying for you, that the Lord gives you courage, to direct your path and guard your footsteps. I pray that you will have peace as you start over and I pray that you will have a testimony that will change someone’s life through what you went through. Remember you are loved more than you can ever imagine.

Start over! You are worth it. There is still so much life in you and Power you have never seen yet. Don’t give up, don’t give in.

This was so profound to read . The message was deep and is somehow linked to experiences we go through as human beings. I love how it touched on the point that we don’t start from scratch but from experience , wisdom, knowledge and prayer . This is a beautiful peace to also keep as an affirmation

Thank you for the love and I share the same sentiments. Everything we go through in live is aligned, heavy or light, good or bad, it all works for our good and cultivates a certain character trait in us that is need to propel us forward in the achievement of purpose, we must just be resilient, check what is this situation teaching me. Choose to live and start over without giving up, we got this. Victory is at our horizon and yet close than we think. Lets keep hope alive as it is set ablaze in our hearts.
