CHOOSE TO LIVE!

Make it a point to choose to live no matter what you encounter in life. Choose to get up when you have fallen, when you are down or weak. Choose not to remain in the pain, hurt, and discomfort. The hard fact is; life moves-on, people move-on and you might be left alone stuck in the event that knocked you off. Choose to see the goodness in the midst of chaos, in brokenness and hopeless situations. There are everyday lessons in all we go through, encounter or experience. Know that you’ll come out a different version of yourself; solid, strong, healed, patient, resilient, enlightened, awaken and fueled to live again. Remember that you carry a story to be told and heard oneday. Choose today to see opportunities and the gift of starting over, but most importantly what you have gained or even what you had to learn. You might have gained the ability to be still if you were always busy, or you might see the true beauty of creation when you go and explore nature. You might have gained the strength to pray, or realized the importance of gratitude.

When you choose to live, you accept the gift you have been given which is LIFE, you were created for a purpose. No matter what, make sure you push yourself to live it out. God needed you and that is why you were created and you are alive. William McDowell’s song “I give myself away” speaks of surrender and a direct reminder that our-lives are just not for us but to give glory to God. We were created by Him for Him (We are made to serve). I want to encourage you today and tell you that Life is not easy, yet meant to be lived. We learn each day, we are vessels, there is something you are carrying and pouring out, may it be hope, faith, transformation & motivation. Let it be to better others and not all about you. When you choose to live it is a selfless thing you can ever do. You are loved more than you can ever know. You are important. Be kind to yourself. Take time to love yourself more, show care to yourself, fill your cup so you can pour out to others.

Choose to live, Choose to achieve your goals, to make a difference, to bring a change, to be a light, to offer help, to fulfill destiny, to heal, to recover, to be restored and be your best at all times. We are all having an untold story in us, which at an appointed time we will have to share & testify, be sure to choose to live so that you can share it, someone’s life depends on it.

Your obedience will be someone’s testimony.

I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.

ROMANS 15:13 (NEW LIVING TRANSLATION)

The fire in your life let it be set ablaze by your hope and faith. I truly wish for you to remember who you are, what you carry and to be uplifted always, especially on the hardest of days. Above all I pray that the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

We are like trees, we have leaves and bear fruit. We go through seasons and sometimes autumn and winter can be hush, we loose our leaves and fruit, it is cold and with winds blown yet if rooted well we remain in the ground. Guess what? seasons change and don’t remain forever, spring comes and we bloom again, we bear fruit and the purpose of our life is fulfilled, no matter the amount of automn and winter we go through we comeback gain and shine in spring and summer. Bloom with grace, don’t loose hope in season that strip you and leave you down, hold on to the roots of HOPE and FAITH, you can make it. Choose to life again, find your spring and summer again, bloom, bear fruit.

You can rise again, you can make it. It is not over yet, God has a plan and purpose for your life. Get up and allow him unfold it and it be manifest in your life. You are here, still alive, you didn’t die, you might have been hurt, broken, discouraged yes, but you are worth so much and carry what you can not fathom yourself.

Each day, make a decision to take one step, you don’t need to know the full story or have life all figured-out. All you need is a single step like breathing, one breath at a time. Do what you used to love, read, paint etc whatever that brings you a smile, what fills you with hope and makes you look forward to tomorrow. Make decisions that count and a year from now you will look at this season with a different perspective. All things work together for good.

Such profound words, a nail struck deep. I had a lot to ponder on and I am by far relieved to have heard such earth shaking words , words of affirmation and self enrichment. It’s always dark before dawn and I love the reference of the tree and seasons. This was such a delight to read. A much awaited blog post, I am so happy. Some of these nuggets in the post were lessons learned and it is still a learning process. Like breathing one breath at a time, in and out.
